Lewis and Erma Berry

Welcome

This site started as an ongoing collection of information and photos related to the Lewis and Erma Berry family and people and places connected to this family from Livermore, Maine.

You will also find some amateur, (that would be me), genealogy collections focused on my family and my wife's family:

Berry

The Berry's arrived to America through Strawbery Banke at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with descendants settling in Scarborough, Wayne and Livermore, Maine. You will find information of the Berry's of Livermore with photos and links to other sources. Rockwood N. Berry, Lewis and Erma's eldest son has been the original and primary source of official genealogy on the Berry line. (Link to: Strawbery Banke Museum at Portsmouth, NH)

Norton

The Norton's came through Martha's Vineyard with Erma's ancestor's settling in Livermore and among the original founders of the Town of Livermore. Norton's also settled in Farmington and were also involved in establishing Industry and New Vineyard. Rockwood N. Berry and Beverly Norton Newton were my primary sources of Norton information.

Dyer and Eastman

The Dyer's and Eastman's are my mother's family from Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Great Eastman photo provided by Rich Eastman includes Edsil Stalker with the George and Roxanna Eastman family. (1903)

Paradis

The Paradis' are my wife's father's family. Research done by the late Elie Duguay traced their Paradis and Moreau ancestors to Quebec.

Jean

The Jean family information will be based on research done by Paul Jean.
