Diane and I recently stopped by The Old Mill Pub to check out a recent business venture by Scott and Patty Berry. We were able to stop by on a sunny Friday afternoon and enjoy a delicious appetizer on the deck overlooking the Kennebec River. We found Liz and husband Mark hard at work but did manage a quick visit.
We returned that evening with Diane's brother's family and had a great dinner. Casey and Scott were also there that evening but very busy with the overflowing crowd.
Hope you will have a chance to stop by and visit cousin Scott and the gang and enjoy the comfortable setting and an excellent meal.
Scott and Patty used to own the nearby Paper Klip and are now learning the restaurant business. It seemed like they are off to a great start.
The Ted Berry Co., Inc., Livermore, Maine
I walked over to The Ted Berry Company, Inc. and visited with brother-in-law Jim Timberlake the other day. I was amazed at the new equipment and technology they are using to serve their customers. They have really incorporated some innovative solutions that they apply to municipal and industrial settings. Jim Timberlake is President and Jim and Linda Berry Timberlake's son Matthew is Vice President of the company.
Last year they moved their base of operations into the former Agway store and have been renovating to accommodate their large fleet of vacuum trucks, video inspection vehicles and other cleaning equipment. I think that Ted would be impressed by their commitment to find creative and affordable solutions for their customers.
